Hi there! My name is Emely and I’m a hollow needle piercer. I am also a mom of four incredible girls who, of course, all wanted their ears pierced. Before I became a piercer I felt like I only had two options; Claire's or a tattoo shop. I liked that tattoo shops used hollow needles (for the most part) but I didn't like the atmosphere of the shops that I visited and my girls didn't feel comfortable there either. I decided I wanted to create a safe, sterile, and comfortable environment for people of all ages and sizes to come when they wanted a piercing. I did a one-on-one apprenticeship for 10 months with a professional piercer and became a hollow needle piercer in June of 2022.

 

Now I am the proud owner of Sacred Moon Body Art - a safe, welcoming, hollow needle piercing studio in Springville, Ut.  Piercings are such a fun and unique way to express your sense of style and I absolutely love being part of helping people discover their authentic self, feel more confident, and love how they look when they see themselves in the mirror.  Your health and safety will always be my top priority in my studio. What that means to me is 1) properly checking anatomy, 2) using jewelry that has been sterilized in a medical grade autoclave, 3) using jewelry that has been Mill Certified to show there is zero nickel, and 4) ensuring that my studio feels safe and comfortable for anyone who comes in for a piercing.

 

I take my job as a piercer very seriously and abide by all of the Utah Health Department regulations for body artists.  I can't wait to have you in my studio!
